I plan on going with the Magnum PI look, 1980s 'stache, borrowed ferrari and nearly knee high socks....okay probably not the socks. In all seriousness I have been told it is relatively casual, nice pants, polo shirt. Of course this could be program dependent. |

i wore a tucked in dress shirt, and dress pants, or a polo and dress pants. dont think i ever wore a tie.

for the ladies--generally slacks with a knit or sweater or button down worked well

as one of the ladies, i must ask: slacks and button-downs? seriously? sounds kinda stuffy...i mean, i'm all for looking "nice," but it seems like
most of these events are in bars/casual restaurants, not exactly your classic dorky business casual look...
any other opinions? |

you know those shirts with the bikinis printed on it, that's probably a good one or a "work dress" would probably work too

slacks and button down does sound stuffy...its supposed to be informal... if its at a bar type retaurant, we will look silly... jeans and a nice sweater or
blouse?? I am clueless as well..
