Posts: 3754 05/31/09 12:18:26	Tags : rotation, books, advice Hey I am starting my urology rotations in in the next few weeks, and I was wondering what everyone is using/have used to prepare for their rotations? Any suggsestions on books? Smith's General Urology? Or even Campbell-Walsh maybe? Any advice would be great, Thanks

Posts: 4 05/31/09 23:34:51	I'm in the same boat. I started slowly reading Smith's over the past 6 months, and referring to it when I ran into a urology related patient on the floor. I've read most of it. It seems like a pretty thorough read...and it's easy enough to get through. I have the sixteenth edition, picked it up from Amazon used for like 17$. Well worth it.

Posts: 3757 06/02/09 22:18:15	I used the Pocket Guide to Urology by Weider. It was perfect for everything and was great to have with me at all times...look up before you present or if you just have no idea about a certain aspect of urology. The drug reps give them out too so just keep your eyes out!

Posts: 3763 06/08/09 14:21:25	I used Pocket Guide + Netters + Hinman's atlas and read the relevant topics as they came up during my rotation. For peds, I saw residents carrying around Handbook of Pediatric Urology. When I made a presentation, that's when I went to Campbell Walsh.
